London Week Of Action 2006 - Newham Council's Action on Empty Homes - 'Newham Council is marking the LONDON WEEK OF ACTION ON EMPTY PRIVATELY OWNED HOMES (5TH June - 9th June 2006) by drawing residents attention to the almost 'criminal' numbers of privately owned homes (and vacant plots of land having the potential for development as new homes) that are laying empty in the Borough.
